Adjustment to Motherhood, First Time Mothers, Postpartum Anxiety, Postpartum Depression, Relationship Challenges, Peri-menopause, Parenting Challenges, High Achieving Working Mothers
I created Bloom Maternal Therapy out of a deep need that I felt as a first time mom for increased recognition, support and coping skills for my postpartum challenges. I kept asking myself, “where is the support for the mom?” and felt really alone in my struggle to adjust to my new mom role while dealing with postpartum depression.
Because of my personal and very real experiences in early motherhood, coupled with my extensive training in perinatal mental health, I bring a nice blend of relatability as well as evidenced based therapy interventions that allow my clients to feel very seen and empowered.
I really enjoy working with first time mothers, high achieving working mothers trying to “balance it all”, and women/mothers in mid-life trying to find their meaning and purpose in the second half of life. Now that my boys are elementary school aged, I am finding this new chapter of motherhood to be so rewarding and life giving and I would love to help you find a version of motherhood that really works for you as well, no matter what stage of the journey you are in.
In the therapy room, I enjoy using an electric approach with my clients that is tailored to their unique needs, building from their strengths and focusing on what is most ‘front and center’ for them during each session. I believe that my clients know themselves the best and it’s my job to help them find new coping tools and ways of thinking that best serve them. I love it when my clients experience a full range of emotions in my office; sometimes laughing over a lighthearted moment while also holding space for a good cry or emotional release.
I would love to work with you if you are looking for a therapist who truly gets the struggles of the perinatal phase of life, is relatable, and will be your biggest cheerleader every step of the way!

What Brings Me A Sense Of Ease
Outside of my role at BLOOM, you can find me hiking with my hubby, playing at local parks with my two active boys, taking hot yoga classes, playing volleyball, traveling with my family or enjoying a Sunday afternoon nap. I feel so grateful to do what I love in a community that I love on the Central Coast!
